Big News from Raskel’s Rescue’s Founder

When I started Raskel’s Rescue just over 3 years ago, I never imagined that we would be where we are today — vibrant, growing and having placed over 1,500 animals in loving homes. That success is due to the hard work & dedication of our staff, our volunteers and our donors, as well as our community.

As we transition now from our start up phase to our “grow to the next level” phase our founding Executive Director, Kirstyn Northrop Cobb has decided to move on.

We thank Kirstyn for her hard work and wish her continued success in the future.

I’m thrilled to announce that Jennifer Bowers, who has been with Raskel’s since the beginning, has taken on the role of Acting Executive Director.

We’ll be making some big and exciting changes in the next few months— including building a new training facility to better prepare our animals for their forever homes! We’ll be expanding our staff, our programs and making some structural improvements to our facility.

Thanks to all of you for what you’ve already done and stay tuned… we’re just getting started here at Raskel’s Rescue.
