Program
Food Bank: Keeping pets fed keeps loving families together.
No pet should go hungry because its family hit a hard stretch. Our pet food bank provides free food assistance to community members in need — because keeping pets in their homes is always better than surrendering them.

Why This Program Matters
One of the most common reasons pets are surrendered to shelters is financial hardship. When a family can no longer afford to feed their animal, they feel like they have no choice. In most cases, they do — if the right support is available at the right time.
A temporary food supply can be the difference between a family keeping their pet through a hard month and surrendering an animal who then spends six months in a shelter. We'd rather provide the food.

No judgment — hardship happens to everyone
Food assistance prevents unnecessary surrenders during financial hardship, keeps pets in their homes and with their families, and reduces shelter intake pressure across the system. It's available for both dogs and cats — and there's no judgment. Hardship happens to everyone.
