What Paws & Pints Is

Paws & Pints is Raskel's Rescue's signature community event — an afternoon at Side Hustle Brewing in Bluffton that brings together craft beer, food trucks, local vendors, adoptable animals, raffles with prizes, and the kind of crowd that shows up because they genuinely care about what's happening in their community. It's free to attend. There's no cover and no ticket required to walk through the door. The only things that cost money are the beer, the food, the raffle tickets, and whatever catches your eye at the vendor booths — all of which directly support the rescue.

In 2024, Raskel's took in 451 animals, placed 438 in forever homes, and euthanized zero. That record doesn't happen without funding, and events like Paws & Pints are a meaningful part of how the rescue sustains that work.

The money raised covers real costs: veterinary care, food, behavioral rehabilitation, shelter operations, and the staff and volunteers who show up every day. You don't have to adopt to make a difference here. Showing up, buying a beer, grabbing a raffle ticket — it all counts.
